It's a drizzly mother's day here in Townsville but it's a been a bit brighter since we booked our tickets to the Essendon vs Hawthorn AFL game in June. Daniel is stoked. I'm excited to see Melbourne for the first time (and of course for visiting my brother).
I have lots of plans but would definitely be happy just to see the sights, and the alleyways I've hear so much about.
So far we've booked 3 nights in a studio apartment in the city and that's all we have got. We had planned to see a bit of the great ocean road but decided we didn't want to be rushed and are leaving those plans for another time when we can spend a week on it.
